Save images or sequences

For information on supported file formats, see Supported save formats.
To save an image on Windows or Mac OS X
- Select File > Save Image to save the current frame as an image.
- In the file browser, enter a name and extension for your file, select a format and destination for the file, and click Save.
To save an image using hotkeys (Linux)
Do one of the following.
To save a sequence on Windows
- Select File > Save Animation to save the animation as a sequence of images.
- In the file browser, enter a name and extension for your file, select a format and destination for the file, and click Save.
To save a sequence on Mac OS X
- Select File > Save As Sequence to save the animation as a sequence of images.
- In the file browser, enter a name and extension for your file, select a format and destination for the file, and click Save.
To save a sequence using hotkeys (Linux)
Do one of the following.
- If you do not want to overwrite the current sequence filenames, press Shift + w to save the files as fcheck.out.1,2,.... The files will be numbered according to it's original frame number in the sequence.
- If you want to overwrite the current sequence filenames, first press F11 to turn on file overwriting, then press Shift + w to save the files. The old files are replaced with the newly saved files.
Your files are saved in the same directory where the sequence was opened.
To save as QuickTime movie on Mac OS X
- Select File > Save As Movie to save the animation as a QuickTime movie.
- In the file browser, enter a name and extension for your file, select a format and destination for the file, and click Save.
